1 Clutch Pedal/linkage problem

Failure Date: 09/16/2015

Happened in the driveway, fortunately. When the clutch pedal was depressed, it stayed down, and in gear. It was difficult to force the car out of gear. I was then able to manually lift the pedal, and pump it softly to make it stay up. This has not happened since. It is a hydraulic clutch' no leaks, and clutch replaced 2 years ago. The car has been well maintained with only 55k miles on it. Looking on the internet I see this is a common problem, and very unsafe if you are driving and can't get it out of gear.

2 Clutch Pedal/linkage problem

Failure Date: 03/15/2007

Clutch pedal stuck to floor when taking off at a green light - half a second later, it pops out. Clutch, slave cylinder, and flywheel had to be replaced. Clutch worn out prematurely.
