My 350z was overheating so I took it to sun devil auto in sun city west. Sam malone inspected it. He said I needed a new radiator, hoses, gaskets for a price of $1400. 00+ . I went to the firestone dealer in surprise on meeker, he told me to go put antifreeze in and check ot out. I did and no overheating now? mr. Malone lied to me and I want him fired.
I have had a problem with the neutral safety switch causing the car to periodically not start. A mechanic made a previous diagnosis but said there were no safety concerns. The car eventually would start all, requiring downtime for repair. Sometimes after sitting over night and sometimes after several errands the car won't start but never this sudden stall. Today, the car stalled while I was in the middle of slowing down to make a left hand turn. It was a two lane mountain road. Cars were able to get around me without incident and I was able to coast backwards to a place of safety. I let the car sit for about 10 min. Which is my usually what I do when it won't start. Put it in neutral after releasing the locked gear shift, with foot on the break, started the car. I am thankful that I hadn't yet merged onto the freeway.
While driving 40 mph, the vehicle's traction control engaged on it's own. However, the road was dry and not wet. The driver applied the brake pedal and the vehicle stalled. The driver tried to restart the vehicle and was able to do so. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. The mechanic informed the driver that it was normal. Please provide further details.
The navigation system door sticks. This has occurred 5 or 6 times. The dealer has replaced the door, the motor and the entire unit and it's happening again.
