My 2006 Nissan 350z was purchased with 21,000 miles in Aug of 2007 and I noticed the engine was consuming alot of oil. I took it into Nissan of downtown la and they advised me that my year and model has this issue and ordered a new engine. In Nov of 2007 I called Nissan to complain that I had not got a new engine as yet and they advised me that a rep would contact me. After speaking with the rep (rikki) I got my new engine within a week and it was installed. But the car was not running properly and was very sluggish. After 3 visits to the dealership they looked into the matter and advised me that they made an error when they installed it. The Nissan rep rikki promised that I would get 2000 for my troubles. Now I get no return calls or anything. This is not safe! Nissan should not be selling cars with engine issues and when they do repair it, it should be done properly!.
