My airbag light is flashing on my dash. I did some research and found out that there is a recall on the 2007-2008 350z for the airbag sensor - passenger. I called the Nissan dealership and was informed that there's no recalls on my specific vehicle and I was informed to contact you'll to get added to the recall database, so I can get my car repaired,.
The passenger airbag light comes on due to a faulty sensor in the seat. This is a known problem yet my VIN number is not identified in the Nissan recall data base.
Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Nissan 350z. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicles check air bag warning indicator illuminated for both the driver and passenger air bags. The contact stated that the failure had occurred on previous occasions, but wasn't sure what the notification on the instrument panel was. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 08v521000 (air bags, electrical system). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 106,000. Wh.
