1 Visibility problem of the 2003 Nissan 350Z

Failure Date: 09/17/2008

I own a track model 2003 Nissan 350z. In August 2008, the front driver side window began to intermittently fail to go up or down properly. By September 2008, it completely failed to go up or down. The dealer stated that the driver side window motor had internal failure and needed to be replaced. Motor replaced with a new factory motor by a CT Nissan dealership at my expense 9/17/2008 at the cost of $581. 35.

2 Visibility problem of the 2003 Nissan 350Z

Failure Date: 12/01/2005

I own a 350z bought brand new in 2003. I was one of the 1st in baltimore for I did not see another z for six months. I have had a new transmission put in at 36k due to a failing 3rd gear synco and now at 80k the 5th. I am about to put in my 5th window motor in. Nissan does not care about us so don't even waste your time with 1800nissan1. They should feel privileged that we allow japanese to sell cars here in the us and should be penalized when they fail. I will never ever buy a Nissan again and I go as far as getting my Nissan's oil changed at Toyota so I do not promote Nissan any further. Quite a lemon. Tacoma has 90k and only oil changes.

3 Visibility problem of the 2004 Nissan 350Z

Failure Date: 09/01/2004

More than 50 percent of 2003-2007 Nissan's have issues with power windows, even higher percentage with the 350z. Still no recalls have been issued, it is a safety issue should the door be jammed the next escape route would be threw the window. If the window is not operating then you have a very serious problem. Also in the case that the car is submerged in water all power windows are functional for about 30 seconds but not if they are constantly getting stuck. I have brought my 2004 Nissan 350z for the same repair of the driver side power window half a dozen times while under warranty. All they made was adjustments and operated normal for a couple of months and then back to the same issues time and time again. It's about time they start replacing parts by a recall process. I hope this does not fall on deaf ears. Thanks, mr. Roxo ( roxosix@yahoo. Com).
