One problem related to wheel bolts has been reported for the 1998 Nissan Altima. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Wheel studs kept breaking off. Dealer notified, and repairs were being made. The front left wheel studs broke off followed by right side front and back studs breaking off. The alloy wheels of this vehicle do not grip the studs properly and are the cause for the studs breaking off.
