Table 1 shows two common seats related problems of the 2002 Nissan Altima. The number one most common problem is related to the seats (three problems). The second most common problem is related to the front seat recliner (one problem).

The floors in the Altimas are rotting out, this is 2002,2003,2004,2005,2006 anf maybe later models. Obviously an engineering, design defect. I was rear-ended by a 2002 offset to driver side of car at an estimated 30-40mph. Drivers seat in Altima is 8-way electric and during impact, the seat tilted back all the way.
