Body and frame of car rusted out leaving a 6-inch by 10-inch hole in the floorboard. The rust hole is located under the driver's seat, on the frame, and around the jack reinforcement. The hole, deemed a structural flaw, is the reason the car failed its safety inspection in virginia. The estimated prices to repair the hole ranged from $2,500 to $5,000.
The contact owns a 2002 Nissan Altima. The contact stated the frame was rusted and partially corroded from road salt.
