1 Brakes Failed problem

Failure Date: 01/19/2016

The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Altima. While driving approximately 40 mph, the brakes failed and the vehicle crashed into a pole. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The driver side air bag deployed. A police report was filed. The contact sustained neck, chest, and back injuries that required medical attention. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to an independent mechanic. The VIN and failure mileage were unknown.

2 Brakes Failed problem

Failure Date: 12/06/2010

In cold temperatures (20f), upon driving the car for the first time in the day, there is no play in the brake pedal and complete brake failure. After coasting to a stop and pumping the brakes several times after the car is warmed up, the brakes operate normally. Repair shops have been unable to determine the cause and found no problems with the brake fluid or brake systems. This occurred three days in a row and counting.
