1 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 09/03/2008

While driving in the interstate my rear driver's tire went flat. I bought my Nissan Altima brand new approximately 3 months ago and there are only approximately 2400 miles on the tires. Upon inspection, it was found that the cause of the flat was splitting sidewalls. Additionally, the front passenger's tire is also starting to show signs of splitting sidewalls.

2 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 12/23/2007

The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Altima with continental conti pro contact tires (tire size 235/55r17 99 h). While driving 60 mph, she heard a loud vibrating sound then lost control of the vehicle briefly. Upon inspection, she discovered that the sidewall on the front passenger side tire separated. The current mileage was 324 and failure mileage was 80. Updated 01/29/08.
