Going down interstate, when you press the gas, vehicle hesitates if you are going faster than 40 miles an hour, motor didn't die but you are unable to go faster for a few seconds, this is very dangerous situation on our interstates. And this is happening on every trip that I am afraid to drive this car, its not trustworthy and I can't afford a new car in today's economy.
Engine light on car shakes a lot or engine shakes sometimes car doesent start problem hepens stationary in motion on the city highway and turning.
Vehicle will not accelerate, appears to slow down, causing issues on highway. Pressing the fuel pedal does not appear to work; fuel pedal touching floorboard and vehicle still will not accelerate.
Multiple mechanical issues including the heat. The hood was on fire and I was stuck due to mechanical issues. Luckily I was able to get out after it got too bad.
After filling vehicle up after starting and sitting for 30sec engine stalls and have to restart engin.
I never will buy a Nissan.
The check engine light lit on the dashboard. The associated engine code was p2a00 and both the upstream (air/fuel ratio) and downstream (oxygen) air sensors had to be replaced. The repair cost close to $1,000 please note: this is after many other costly repairs, including most recently another filing with the NHTSA regarding issues with the power steering system where the rack & pinion had to be replaced. While the car has a lot of miles, they're mainly highway miles and the car has been extremely well maintained. Additionally please note: the catalytic converter was replaced ~33k miles ago. During this replacement, supposedly, the aforementioned sensors should've been checked and possibly replaced.
