In addition, the contact was advised that due to corrosion, the driver's rear control arm would also need to be replaced soon. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was 124,000.

2 Structure problem

Failure Date: 09/29/2023

The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the right rear control arm fractured. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was diagnosed with a fractured right rear control arm. The right rear control arm needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000. VIN unavailable.
