Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2015 Nissan Altima

I have had issues with the very bad low beam lighting at night. Its so terrible that its like having no lights on at all and riding with them on constant high beams has resulted in me being pulled over on numerous occasions by police but its also unsafe to all other drivers I pass. The low beams were why I had an accident in Nov of 2023. That resulted in me going down an embankment hitting a tree head on. From that accident I also learned the air bags were faulty bc they did not deploy either. I was only injured with a few scrapes, bruises and alot of soreness but it could have been so much worse. I have the photos from that wreck that shows the damage but also how the air bags didnt deploy as well. I plan to look into what other actions I can take against Nissan since they know these are issues and have not fixed them. My car was manufactured in October of 2015. I was making a right hand turn when this occured bc I could not see bc of the low beam lights. I was only going maybe 5 mph. 10 mph tops. Please contact me with questions.

In an accident going 60mph got hit on drivers side and front and airbags did not deploy when they should have. Had a mechanic look at it and said the airbags must be hung up because they should have deployed and should deploy anytime you are hit going over 25mph.

I was driving when a man ran the stop sign and plowed into the side of my car. I could see that he was not going to stop so I swerved and started braking in order to miss him. I had no were to go because there was a guard rail on my drivers side and people sitting at the stop sign that I almost hit head on trying to avoid this guy. He hit me so hard that it broke the passenger side front tire and it totaled my car. But the airbag did not deploy causing me to get tossed and bruised up even though I was wearing my seat belt. Issues with the hood latch not wanting to properly latch and setting off alarm and signal inside the car dash also this vehicle keeps saying that there is no one in the passenger seat when they're indeed is someone in the passenger seat and the airbag will not deploy if in a car crash I don't know why my car wasn't included in this recall that was for both of these issues but it has both of these issues coming through a carmax dealership.

2015 Nissan Altima was involved in an accident on 12 June 2017. While traveling on interstate, approximately 70 mph traffic came to a complete and sudden stop. I owned a 2008 Altima and 2011 Altima that never required service other than oil changes and air in my tires. I am very disappointed with this 2015 piece of junk! I can hear wind noise no matter what speed I am driving. I feel like I am in a crash test every time I slow down. Nissan tech said it is the new cvt transmission. Honda, Lexus, Toyota, mercedes and Audi have cvt and it is a smooth ride! why does Nissan cvt jerk you around? the car is so cheaply made the speakers are popped up and paint is chipping. I have reported my issues to Nissan corp. And bbb. The newest issue is the rpm rev up as I sit at red lights. I want Nissan to rebuy this car back!.

Takata recall - airbag failed to deploy. I was completely stopped at a red light when another vehicle, traveling at approximately 45 - 50 mph, rear-ended me.

`driving from a customer business my red light for supplemental air bag came on . I took the car to the local dealer and they diagnosed and ordered a air bag module. When part came in on April 13th 2015 with miles of 11276 dealer rep said that the module did not turn red light off. Service ordered a driver air bag module and installed this on miles 11738, April 17th,2015, red light still on. Informed me there is only one more part they can put on it is called a new cable. . Car is new and under warranty, book says if light is red that the air bags will not deploy, called service on afternoon of April 17th and suggested they give a loaner to me if this car was not safe to drive . Service said it was safe, just that the light is on. I drive 100- 300 miles a day in this car and if the red light is on the service manual says this is dangerous, however the dealer refuses to offer a loaner car, service rep said the air bags would still work and that the light just will not go off. I have taken this car in three times in three weeks and the light is still red. . I am to take this back next week to have a cable installed as per invoice. .
