My key fob is acting up. . . Incorrect key id,,keeps popping up. . I dont understand why this is doing this,,I feel that this is a safety issue because I really am nnot safe when I am stranded because my car will not start.
Vehicle was stationary. Dash panel displayed key not detected. Car wouldn't start. Replace battery in key fob with a brand new energizer battery. Worked fine two times and did the same thing. Had car battery checked and was told it was good. Car wouldn't start on me again in an unlit parking lot. Very dangerous situation. Have read on blogs that this is common with this car. Why won't they fix it?.
Push button start doesn't work due to faulty steering wheel lock system. Car will not start unless I use remote start, open and close door then hit brake.
