When temperatures are 15 degrees, or lower the engine makes a loud rumbling and knocking noise when started up. The colder it is the louder and longer it last. Generally it takes 5-10+ minutes before it quiets down. Second issue is; regardless of temperature, when accelerating on a grade it also makes a rumbling noise. The car has 57,000 on it and is very good condition otherwise.
