My complaint is involving both drivers and passenger side headlights. While driving from the evening on into night time and while having my lights on I can not see the light in front of me they are very, very dim. So I have to resort on putting on my high beams which causes oncoming motorists to be blinded by my high beam lights which can cause them to lose control of thier vehicle and crash into mine. I also can not see if there is any pedestrian in front of my vehicle or a disabled vehicle in front of me untill I am within a few feet from them. I can not for safety concerns drive my vehicle at night.

Headlights on low beam have become dimmer over time. On Nissan forums this is a problem on different cars. This is a safety issue that needs to be addressed.
Dim low beam headlights the low beam head lights are very dim and it has happened progressively. Replacing the bulb does not resolve the issue and necescetates driving with the high-beam head lights, which is dangerous for other drivers.
At night time I noticed my low beam headlights were extremely dim. Like almost can't even see the road dim without sitting right against my steering wheel. So I turn my high beams on to see if they were dim too but those were normal. I replaced them all with led and the problem still was not resolved. I drive at night with my high beams on until I meet an oncoming vehicle and then I usually can't even see the road unless my brights are on(which is a safety concern for them as well). In the city, my lights do not even appear that they are on at all.
The dim headlights are extremely dim, allowing me not to drive safely at night unless I have my high-beams on. This has been going on for over a year now. I've replaced the headlights with no improvement.
Dim headlights on low, make it impossible to see safely at night. This is a known issue with these headlights.

The front headlights are so dim it makes seeing very difficult. This is a known problem with Nissan. The 3rd lane turned into a turn lane on a city street that I couldnt see due to the poor lighting and we struck a curb blowing out both right side tires and ruining the wheels. ## #vpic# 1 - check digit (9th position) does not calculate properly #vpic#.
My daily commute takes me through rural, relatively unlit areas at night. This has become increasingly unsafe in the last year as my headlights have dimmed to the point where I am unable to see more than 60-70 feet in front of me. This poses a significant hazard throughout the year as deer are abundant in the area I drive through and any amount of inclement weather further hinders safe driving.
Vehicle in motion, highway and city street driving. The low-beam headlights are dangerously dim. If driving on a road not otherwise lighted by streetlamps, nearly impossible to see the road ahead. High-beams always have to be used. Checked ground wire, replaced bulbs with no improvement. This has been an issues for a well over a year.
The headlights have been getting dimmer over time (so bad its hard to see!!) replacing the bulbs has not helped! very unsafe!!.
I change my dim headlights and I still can't see at night. This should be a recall on 2015 Nissan Altima.
Headlights are real dim the lens are clean an clear cant hardly tell they are on.
The headlights are very dim. Very poor visibility causing to not be able to see when driving at night.
The headlight component is of very poor quality. It doesn't matter what kind of bulbs are placed in the headlights, the light does not project onto the road enough to see well at night. The headlights don't project far enough out and you are only able to see the road that is barely in front of you, not even to the sides. I have tried upgrading the bulbs multiple times and there is no difference.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that the front headlights were dim and failed to function as intended. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The contact stated that in the past five years the headlights had been replaced two times. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. Additionally, the contact was informed that a previous warranty for the repair had expired. The contact was referred to the NHTSA hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
I am also having an issue with the low beam headlights being dangerously ineffective for night driving or inclement weather. It seems that their are more than an adequate amount of complaints filed to warrant some action. My daughter and grand children ride in this vehicle and there better not anything happen to them because of this. Nissan nor NHTSA have enough money to settle that lawsuit. Lights declined gradually. From online research I see that the issue is the reflectors inside the headlight assemblies. I have also changed to "brighter" bulbs, no help. I've researched aftermarket headlight assemblies and they also seem inferior.
The low beam drivers headlight has become very dim. The bulbs were replaced with the same halogen type, but there was no difference. The headlamp appears to be clouded on the inside lens. The exterior headlamp surface is clear. This is happening all the time.
Headlights low beams does not work properly, you can hardly see the road at night, at first I thought it was the bulbs, but I went to buy some led lights to see if it worked better but it did not, I even paid for my headlights to be polished, but did not see any change, I looked for information and there was a law sue against Nissan for the headlights, they find out that the chrome inside the light gets deteriorated with time and that causes that the light get blurred, and the only solution is to buy new headlights, which I dont think is fair since is a manufacture problem and not a wear and tear issue, plus is a safety issue since you can not see clearly at night whenyou drive.
Headlights extremely dim hard to see driving at night.
The headlights on dim are not bright enough to even drive at night. I have to use high beams to even see the road.
The reflection assembly in both front headlights has been coming apart resulting in a gradual loss of brightness. It is very hard to see when driving at night.
