On Sunday December 12th just north of birmingham on I-65 there was a foreign object in the lane (appeared to be a fairly large piece on concrete). It was between 8-9p thus dark. Due to the amount of traffic driver could not swerve to avoid the object. The object bent the front driver wheel which resulted in needing to replace the driver front wheel and tire (oem Nissan wheel and cover, third party recycled tire). The object in the road could have caused far worse damage and bodily injury. We do not have a receipt for the $60. 00 used tire.
Tl the contact owns a 2017 Nissan Altima. While driving in the parking lot, the contact heard a noise coming from one of the tires. The contact exited the vehicle and realized that the tire was sitting on the rim. The tire pressure indicator was not illuminated. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified. The specific tire was not specified. The failure mileage was 26,000.
My car is running very hard it's not smooth anymore I feel the pressure coming from the wheel and the steering wheel is not straight as supposed to.
My 2017 Nissan Altima is not even a year old and has less then 10,000 miles on it. Driving on the freeway I heard a pop and immediately got off the freeway. My tire, which has great tread, has blown and one of the lugs shot back into the wheel. I believe this is due to a defect with the particular lug. It was not properly secured and became loose causing extensive damage. This should be covered by Nissan, but they are refusing to take responsibility for the defect in their product.
