Tl the contact leased a 2019 Nissan Altima. While driving under 30 mph, a red light flashed for the emergency brake and the vehicle abruptly stopped. The failure caused the driver and front passenger seats to jerk forward. The vehicle was driven home and parked due to the failure. In addition, the cruise control failed to properly engage and disengage. The contact had to check the component to ensure whether it was on or off. Also, the emergency warning indicated flashed intermittently more than once and a clunking noise was heard when the vehicle was in operation. The vehicle was towed to Nissan 112 (730 medford Ave, patchogue, NY 11772, (631) 651-1987), but they could not duplicate the failure. There was no diagnostic trouble code present.
