1 Suspension problem of the 2004 Nissan Crew

Failure Date: 12/13/2005

I received letter from Nissan corp about recall about "brake judder'. I went to the dealership for regular maintenance and to complete recall servicing but for three months the parts were unavailable. I continued to get my vehicle serviced at the Nissan dealership. In addition to the judder recall my brake system was replaced at a later date but the parts for the recall were still unavailable. I had my tire rotated and balanced at regular service intervals. After three months, the brakes were squeaking again, when I took the vehicle in for regular servicing the technician said that I needed new tire after only 40,000 miles of regular travel. They found that the vehicle was in poor alignment, something that should have been noted from my many service visits to the dealership. I called the corporate office of Nissan to check the information about the brake judder, to see if it could cause alignment problems that would lead to this kind of abnormal wear. There is no proof available from Nissan that the alignment issue is related to the brake judder problem. I request a thorough investigation into what the effects of the brake judder issue would have on alignment of my vehicle. The fact that problem remained unfixed on my vehicle for several months because of unavailable parts is a problem that should be addressed without delay.

2 Suspension problem of the 2004 Nissan Crew

Failure Date: 03/20/2005

When driving this vehicle ,and the right foot is on the accelerator you feel as though you are going to rip a wiring harnes with your foot ,it is also distracting and some what concerning as it takes you longer to move your foot to the brake pedal, also the suspension on this vehicle is not sturdy , the front strut assembly rattles as if the vehicle is 10 years old I have spoken to Nissan and they say that such is normal I have spoken to other front end experts and they say the suspension on this vehicle should be replaced , I have also noticed that at cold starts the vehicle gives of a blue smoke which is not normal I am a very meticulous person and take care of my vehicle ,faithfull oil changes etc. I believe Nissan should reevalute this 2004 and make changes to keep customers happy.

3 Suspension problem of the 2004 Nissan Crew

Failure Date: 01/15/2004

I would be driving and all of a sudden, the truck would shake while applying the brakes. The first time I went in to have them check out the problem at Nissan of elk grove I was chewed out on how bad of a driver I am. He got so loud he was considered yelling by other customers of Nissan. He told me how I must have been power braking the truck to generate the kind of heat necessary to warp the rotors like that. The problem was that I bought the truck on December 12, 2003 and this was happening approximately on January 15, 2004. It happened about a month after I bought the truck. I bought a truck that cost me $42,000 I have no reason to run it into the ground right off the bat. I want this truck to last me as long as last truck over 300,000 miles. I even use full synthetic oil to help protect the engine. This truck has had three completely new brake systems in it and has had brakes and rotors resurfaced four times. This lead to the tires being worn out by 11,000 miles. It was funny when there was three Nissan titans to be repaired for the same problem. They denied that there is a problem and told all of us we were very hard on our vehicles. The tires all had the same wear patterns also. I sent $800 dollars to get new tires after they thought they had the problem fixed and they only had to do one more brake job since and the tires are less than 50% worn and the truck has 31,118 miles on it currently. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get this problem resolved.
