Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 1999 Nissan Frontier

~tl the contact owns a 1999 Nissan Frontier. While the contact was at a stop sign and attempting to turn out of a parking lot, another vehicle slammed into the front of his vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. There were no injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle did not need to be towed and was able to be driven home. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact called two dealers (weakley county motors, 841 n lindell st, martin, TN 38237, 731-587-3141) and (Nissan of paris, 1490 mineral wells Ave, paris, TN 38242, 731-642-0601) and was informed that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The body damage was repaired at an independent body shop. The cause of the failure was not determined. The failure mileage was unknown. Jo.

While at a stop sign another vehicle struck consumer's vehicle head first, but air bags failed to deploy.

Vehicle was involved in an accident of an impact of 35-40 mph; both air bags failed to deploy, and driver's side seat belt failed to lock into place. Front passenger received minor injuries. Dealer notified.

Was driving approximately 55 mph on wet pavement, the vehicle hydroplaned after hitting water in the street. The vehicle spun around, jumped a curb and hit some trees. The front end and the rear end were severely damaged yet the air bags failed to deploy. The driver sustained injuries from the impact.

While making a stop, and as a result of a head-on accident air bags did not deploy. Dealer has been notified. Please provide further information.
