Connection for abs(g sensor). Light will come on and bypass some of the brake components. Has been fixed before and it recurs . Can feel difference in braking.
Last night our 2001 Nissan Frontier caught fire and was destroyed. The fire marshal said it was an electrical fire that started under the steering column. The truck was parked at around 6:15 pm and this fire was discovered at around 11:15 pm and seemed that it had started around 20 minutes before.
While driving engine check light appeared on the dashboard until the vehicle was turned off. Consumer took vehicle to dealer for analysis , and mechanic noticed that the computer needed replacing due to a worn out part.
On 3-31-2003 my 2001 Nissan Frontier caught fire after being parked for 4-5 hours. The state fire marshall suspects the fire was electrical in origin. The cab and bed were burned. The front end sustained no damage.
