1 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2009

I have a 2007 Nissan Frontier xe, automatic. I noticed my tires were starting to wear on the inside. At 21,000 miles I did not want to be replacing my tires too soon. Took to sears for a front end alignment and tire rotation. The toe in was way out and so was the camber. The toe in was adjusted, but the camber could not be adjusted. The reason: no camber adjustment was available. I went to the dealer and they said it does not come with it, that I would have to buy the camber kit. This cost me $82. 00. Therefore I have to take it back to sears to have it installed. Luckily I know the manager and technician. They will do the realigned no charge, but the camber kit installation will cost me $120. 00. . . . Why would the manufacturer not ensure that this adjustment was installed on all vehicles. It sounds like a money maker to me.
