Truck accelerates on its own as if the cruise control is stuck in acceleration mode, even though system is off. I can get it to decelerate by pressing the brake but it will resume accelerating on its own if I press the accelerator again. If I shift the transmission into neutral when in this mode, the engine redlines. I have a service appointment at salem Nissan to evaluate the cause.
