The contact owns a 2022 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the front driver seat reclines on its own. The contact stated that the failure occurs intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure was unable to be diagnosed but various parts have been replaced; and the failure continues. The contact stated that the dealer informed him that there was a technical service bulletins (TSB) for the seat failure however, there was not a remedy. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offer no assistance but referred the contact back to the dealer. The approximate failure mileage was 100.
I purchased my 2022 Nissan Frontier on June 30, 2022. The driver's seat belt, as well as the passenger seat belts, have the fabric loop. In researching this issue, all the articles I have read indicate that the driver's seat belt should not have the loop. Is this something that is a safety issue?.
