Seats problem #1

The contact owns a 2012 Nissan Juke. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign 12v328000 (seats) thirteen months after purchasing the vehicle. The contact stated the dealer knew about the recall and did not inform the contact about the recall prior to him purchasing the vehicle. The contact called the manufacturer and filed a complaint against the dealer. The contact had not experienced a failure.

Mid/rear Seats Assembly problem #2

The back seat, which can fold down, does not latch to the attachment, as designed. This seat can lunge forward, which could be hazardous to a passenger or even the driver. This is problematic, especially when the vehicle is in motion and the brakes need to be engaged quicklythe unlatched seat slams forward. This has happened to me on numerous occasions when I've had to engage the brakes quickly to avoid an accident, it propels forward the unlatched back seat.
