Service Brakes problem #1

Safety issue. Car failed to brake causing collision. Car was stopped at yield, proceeded to move forward in line, and when tried to stop brake pedal did not respond. Pedal bottomed out without resistance, completely soft.

Brake Light On problem #2

When attempting to start the vehicle, the brake pedal builds up pressure, sticks, and is not able to be pressed down to start the vehicle. All of the lights will turn on but the engine will not start. The brake lights will not signal at that time as well. In getting a jump start, the vehicle is able to start. After this occurs, while the vehicle is still running, whenever the car is at a stop and the brake is pressed, it shakes intermittently. The battery as well as the brake switch have been tested with the dealership and both are in working order. The inability to start the vehicle has happened several times in public places and at the home where the vehicle is kept. The shaking of the car upon braking happens every time the car has trouble starting.
