The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Juke. The contact stated while driving 70 mph, the vehicle decelerated to 58 mph unintendedly. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to continue driving. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the pcv valve was replaced; however, the failure persisted. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the engine was blown and needed to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle could not be repaired under an unknown extended warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000.
