3 Suspension problem of the 2011 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 06/28/2023

I bought this car late 2019, from a used dealership. I was on the freeway on my way back from a 1 1/2 hr drive. And the car suddenly stopped accelerating. ! I would push down on the gas petal and nothing. Freeway with traffic. It was so scary! the cars behind me almost hit me! I managed to put on my hazards lights on and pulled over. Then waited a while, and then turned it back on and it worked. Then it happened again. An so on until I made it back home, my 1 hour drive turn into 3hrs because I kept pulling over. , until I got into the nearest town to a autozone to check it. Because the engine light turn on, they were able to give me some codes regarding the issue. Apparently it has something to do with the ?power train system. Cvt. Torque converter. Im not to sure what is that. It happened on the freeway, and I was terrified! its also important to mention that just one month ago I payed around $700 to fix the suspension, and cv joints, not sure the name of the problem it had. But it was something that kept eating my tires out. ! I kept buying new and used tires, I even took it to get it aligned. But it kept eating my tires up, then in a tireshop they told me to take it to a mechanic because it seem that something was very bad. Because the tires they wouldn't last, I took it to a mechanic and he said that I was in danger because the cv joints (I think that is what he said) were almost about to fall off. ! because they were damaged and thats was another issue I had with this car. ?the tire pressure light keeps turning on and off, even when it doesn't needs air. ?and the traction light turns on like in a flashing way, and the car moves and gets out of control side to side. It seems like the car is posses or something it does his own thing it get out of my control. I just stopped driving for now. I'm terrified to drive it! what can I do?.

4 Suspension problem of the 2012 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 04/12/2023

Sept 2022 I bought my 2012 Nissan Juke from jeff wyler’s Nissan king automall. April 23 the left, lower ball joint/axle (drivers side) broke. Needed fixed. Almost $2,000. I specifically asked them to check right sided ball joint/axle. Oh it’s fine. We checked it out and it’s all good. Less than 3 months later-the right sided axle and ball joint broke. It only took over 6 weeks and 3 different places (discount tires, tire discounters and jeff wyler’s dealership) to figure out what was wrong with my vehicle at this time. This time it cost me more (but since jeff wylers mechanics fix things and then jack up the price by $800) it actually cost me $1550 to fix it this time. I could have died. On both occasions and now it feels like the backend of my Juke is shaking apart. I’m scared to death to drive my vehicle and I’ve told jeff wyler I think they sold me an unsafe vehicle and I am now terrified to drive it. But it’s the only car we have in our family and I can’t afford to buy another one. You have no idea as to how terrified I am to drive my car now; especially with that rear end shaking. Omg! I’ve never owned a Nissan before and this is my last I have also asked jeff wyler’s dealership-wouldn’t this have been caught on their inspection of selling a used car? wouldn’t the mechanic in April seen signs/symptoms of stress on the right sided ball joint when they looked at it when they fixed the left side? how do things like this get missed? & put my life in danger as well as every other person on the roads while I drove with broken axles and ball joints? how can they sell vehicles that are not safe? omg! you cannot comprehend the terrified feeling along with anxiety/nausea and just pure terror of driving a vehicle that shakes still and where I’ve had to fix 2 separate massive breakages in the driveway mechanics or frame (idk. The 2nd time it happened; I thought its a bad tire). I am now more religious and spiritual because of this. I now pray several times daily.

5 Suspension problem of the 2016 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 04/10/2023

I'm the only owner of this vehicle. In Dec 2021 (@ 61000 miles) I had problems with steering my vehicle. I went to break and could not break on the expressway. I was on a 55 miles expressway during rush hour traffic. I came to a stop on the side of the road and when I try to engage the accelerator to get off to the exit the car will not move. It kept stalling and making grounding sounds. The steering wheel was hard to turn as well. Had the Nissan dealership tell me the transmission had to be replaced after 10 days of having my car at the dealership. The transmission was replaced. April 2023 (@ 87000 miles), I am back at the dealership with transmission again. This is the same transmission they put there in Dec 2021. I was going less than 10 mile on a normal roadway. The car will not accelerator or move over 10 mph. It sounded like it I was changing gear in a manual car. The abs light would blink off and on for a split second as the car jerk and trying to accelerate. I have also spend on replacing the suspending and steering, control arms and a whole bunch of other things.

9 Suspension problem of the 2016 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 07/22/2019

This car is literally failing every year for the past 2 years 9 months. The axel's had to be replaced and the air conditioning had to be fixed just in days of the last repair an engine light came on and that repair was an oxygen sensor (emissions) this was a brand new vehicle with struts problem less than 90 days. The wheels had noise then now wheel axel's problems same as the struts front left and right. This Juke is a lemon and I asked the manufacturer from the first repair that it was something wrong with this Juke 2016. Many case numbers have been placed on this vehicle for major repairs. Unfortunately the manufacturer wants nothing to do with it own vehicle. Shame on you Nissan not worried if your cars are not safe.

11 Suspension problem of the 2013 Nissan Juke

Failure Date: 11/16/2013

We purchased a brand new Nissan Juke on November 16, 2013 at midway Nissan located in phoenix arizona. The buying process was quite unusual in that it took greater than six hours to meet with finance to sign the paperwork once we shook hands on the deal. I was not pleased spending this inordinate amount of time at the dealer but they offered a gift card to us to as an apology, which we accepted and appreciated the gesture. We received a survey about the Juke shortly after our purchase, which we promptly filled out and sent back. Of note, we indicated on the survey that the Juke persistently pulls to the right while driving. A few months later, I received a call from tim williams in consumer affairs. Tim said he was reaching out to us because of the issue identified on the survey we completed. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about tim, as he conducted himself in a professional, kind, and sincere manner. Tim arranged for a technical specialist to evaluate my vehicle at midway niacin. My car was at the dealer for three distinct visits, which totaled 22 days. After much work and multiple replacement parts being installed, I was told that my car was as good as it is going to get? because the pull in steering was now within specifications. In essence, my car still pulled to the right but not to the extent that was deemed unacceptable by niacin. The pulling to the right continued to be a concern for me despite reassurances. This is the best driving Juke on the road now. Over the past year, the pulling has gotten dramatically worse so I opened a new complaint with consumer affairs. They did not help me at all this fine, in fact, the issue was blamed on the tires and my case arbitrarily closed. I feel my vehicle is a safety hazard since it pulls to the right significantly. I must keep the wheel turned to the left at all times while driving.
