Problem with automatic emergency braking (aeb). I'm driving on a road with 2 lanes in my direction at about 35 mph. Approached a curve that makes a slight left turn in the road. There happens to be a bicyclist on the curve. As the car reaches a position where the bicyclist is in direct frontal view of the vehicles cameras/radar, the aeb activates, even though we're both on the curve and I'm not going to hit the bicyclist. The activation of the aeb lasted only a second or two until the bicyclist was no longer in my direct path, but the noise from the brakes activating and the sudden deceleration scared the devil out of me causing me to panic momentarily. If a car was tailgating at the time, they may have hit me. The aeb system should recognize that I was on a turn/curve at the time and not have activated.
