Air Bag Problems of Nissan Kicks

I was stopped at a red light waiting for the light to turn green. It turned green and I slowly went out and a car went through a red light hit my front left car. The guy was going at at least 30 to 40 miles and not one airbag went off.

The vehcile was in a munor accicent. There was a rock in the road on a roundabout. The rock popped the front left tire causing vehichle to go out of control. There was some undercarriage damage to the control arms. There was no body damage. No rollover. No other vehicle involved. There was some wheel damage on the right side due to the curbing. This for seemingly no reason caused the passabger side curtain airbags to depoly. There was nobody in the passanger seat.

Another vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and ran into the front driver side of my vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the air flow sensor failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65-70 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact was able to restart the vehicle however, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. The contact stated that she used an obd scanner and performed a diagnostic test on the vehicle that produced code: p101 (indicating that the mass air flow sensor was faulty). Additionally, the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, while depressing the brake pedal to stop the vehicle, the vehicle failed to respond as needed. The contact stated that she had to apply added pressure and pump the brake pedal several times to coast the vehicle to a stop. The contact stated that the mitigation braking system failed. The abs warning light and the forward collision avoidance warning light were intermittently illuminated. Additionally, the air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed but the failure could not be duplicated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed to take the vehicle back to the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 88,873.

While traveling on a hwy with my 2021 Nissan Kicks, me and my wife were sandwiched. A black SUV suddenly stopped in front of us causing us to rear end them going approximately 50-60 mph then we were rear ended. No air bag deployed and the passenger seat appears to have come off of its tracks. Nissan has been notified of this and should conduct an investigation. Not sure if the automatic emergency braking failed or if the car just did not have time to react.
