The contact owns a 2025 Nissan Kicks. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the fuel filler door failed to lock as stated in the owner’s manual. Additionally, while driving over bumps in the roadway, the fuel filler door erroneously opened. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who indicated that the fuel filler door was not equipped with a locking mechanism and no fault was found with the vehicle.
