2 12v/24v/48v Battery problem of the 2016 Nissan Leaf

Failure Date: 02/02/2022

The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Leaf. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the "low battery mode" warning message was displayed while the battery was fully charged, which caused the vehicle to inadvertently decelerate. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The dealer replaced the capacitor and three cells in the battery; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired and had an upcoming appointment with the dealer. Failure Date: 04/15/2021

The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Leaf. The contact stated while driving 10 mph, the battery warning light illuminated, and the vehicle lost motive power. The vehicle was towed to the residence and the battery was re-charged. The vehicle was restarted however, the failure recurred several times. The contact took the vehicle to a local dealer who inspected the vehicle but could not determine the cause for the failure.
