Two problems related to steering wheel have been reported for the 1998 Nissan Maxima. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Occurs 90% of time and most often after car has been driven 10 miles or so. No safety defect enumerated.
When driving at 50 mph or more the vehicle starts to vibrate, and it is very hard to hold the steering wheel. Also, when applying the brakes the vehicle spinned around, causing the consumer to hit a metal wall.
