One problem related to front seat belt retractor has been reported for the 1999 Nissan Maxima. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When traveling on the highway at 60 mph an accident ocurred and there was a crash. During this occurrence, driver's side air bag, as well as the passenger's side air bag did not deploy. Also, seat belt did not hold consumer, causing his chest to hit the windshield.
