The contact drove to the side of the road where she realized the rear passengers tire had blown out. The tire was replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. 2 Tire Blowout problem

Failure Date: 05/28/2010

The contact owns a 2000 Nissan Maxima gle/gxe/se with cooper tires, size p215/55r16, line cobra radial g/t, dot 3db2, serial d113206 rrt. While driving the vehicle at speeds of 60 mph, the front drivers side tire blew out due to tread separation. The contact was able to stop the vehicle without further incident and replaced the tire with the spare. As a result of the blow out, the drivers side fender, wiring harness, door and bumper were damaged. The tire manufacturer was contacted but did not provide any assistance. The failure and current mileages were 117,368.
