On June 6th. 2019 my 2005 Nissan Maxima struck a disabled vehicle left in the middle lane of the long island expressway (a 3 laned highway). Although I was traveling at 60 mph when the collision occurred and struck the disabled vehicle from the rear, the passenger airbag never deployed. This resulted in the passenger receiving significantly more serious injuries than that of the driver (who's airbag did deploy).
I have a recall notice from Nissan but my auto dealer left our area. Nissan told me to take it to another town that is at least 70 miles away. I cannot get it there. They will not pay another non-Nissan local dealer to do the work. What can I do?.
I was rear-ended so hard it catapulted me into the vehicle in front, my airbag didn't deploy. My face hit the steering wheel, I have a bulge and bruising above my right eye and right cheek.
