The contact stated that the was in for service and while the vehicle was stationary with the engine running the service technician closed the front drivers side door and moments later both the front and rear driver's side curtain air bags erroneously deployed. The contact indicated that during the incident no person was seated in the vehicle and nothing had made contact with the vehicle to cause the air bags to deploy. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 90,948.

I was driving down the interstate, going around a curve, the wheel stabilizer turned on for no reason. I could not regain control of the car. The wheels locked up and I got slammed into two concrete walls and a diesel truck as a result. None of the airbags deployed.

Diving down a road going 45. A person pulled in front of me to go the opposite direction. He hit my car straight on and totaled my car from the frontal damage to the car. No airbags were deployed and I nearly smashed my face on the steering wheel if it wasn't for my seat belt. And me hold my self back from going threw the windshield.

2006 Nissan Maxima with 19000 miles was traveling 70 mph on interstate highway when the left rear tire tread separated completely from the rest of the tire. The tire failure caused the driver to lose control and spin into concrete divider at center of interstate.
