The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times for the failure where a diagnostic was performed however, the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The dealer replaced the front passenger air bag sensor as a precaution but the failure was not corrected. The manufacturer was contacted and advised that the front passenger air bag was performing according to standards. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000 and the current mileage was 33,000.
