3 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 09/20/2020

Dim headlight.

4 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 09/17/2020

Headlights are not bright at all. At night time, I always have to drive with my brights on. Can't see two-three feet in front of me at night without the brights on. Blinker light is brighter than headlights. Have gotten my headlights replaced a couple of times with no relief of issues.

5 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2020

Headlights are dangerously dim. Tried to replace halogen bulbs with brighter ones with zero luck. Major hazard and known issue on 2013-2015 Maxima and altima.

6 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2019

Headlights are very, very dim. Driving at night with the headlights on is very, very dangerous as there is not adequate light being projected.

7 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 10/15/2019

The low beam headlights on my 2014 Nissan Maxima are so dim it truly is a serious safety concern. I literally cannot see 2 feet in front of my car at any speed. My blinkers emit more lummis than my low beams. Needs to be recalled as I have researched and found hundreds of Nissan owners with the same problem.

8 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 09/24/2019

The low beam headlights on my 2014 Nissan Maxima s are so dim that I am scared to drive my car at night. The high beams are as bright as the low beams should be. We have replaced with top of the line bulbs & it hasn't helped at all. This is a serious safety issue & Nissan needs to address this before people are injured because they can't see well enough to drive. Another issue with my car is airbags not deploying as they should. My car collided with a 18-wheeler on the interstate. The 18-wheeler came over into my lane latching onto the passenger side of my car. Once I broke loose from the truck, I veered into the median hitting 2 road signs head on & my air bags never deployed. This has to be a defect that needs to be addressed as well.

9 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 02/13/2019

While using low beam headlights at night, lights are very dim and dangerous to see the road ahead. Very dangerous to see ahead of me. I have tried replacing bulb with little effect. Possible that projectors are burnt out and will need entire headlight assembly replacement.

10 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2018

Recently bought a used 2014 Nissan Maxima. The low beam headlights are so dim that the car is dangerous to drive at night. Took it to the dealer and they said this is a common problem for this car; opaque and yellowing material inside the sealed headlight assembly which cannot be accessed. Both headlight assemblies will have to be changed out, which requires removing the bumper.

11 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 02/11/2018

Not long after I purchased the vehicle I noticed the headlights were really dim and low. I thought it was just the bulbs. So eventually I bought brand new bulbs top shelf which did not fix the problem. I have took to several shops and basically have been told I will need a whole new light assembly and it has to do with the projector headlight. My issue is paying all the money on a new assembly if I will continue to have the same recurring issue. I can not see at all. I also have done re search and seen where a lot of altima and Maximas between certain years are having the same issue. I was directed to this website to file my complaint. This should definitely be recalled and fixed complimentary by Nissan.

12 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 01/17/2017

The headlights at night are too dim to be safely driven. I have replaced the bulbs and this has no affect. There is a defect with the whole assembly that has been reported by other Maxima and altima owners.
