1) the front radar obstruction warning comes on randomly when there is no obstruction while vehicle is in motion. 2) driver side door lock stops working for days (this is the 5th time and I have reported it to orr Nissan in searcy,ar) started messing up while there was still warranty but they couldn't find anything wrong due to it not messing up when they could get it in to look at. The key fob, outside button, and inside button works all other door locks except driver door- have to use the key to unlock/lock driver door. Can hear the part inside the door reacting in a slow manner prior to it not working. Very aggravating when has been reported many, many times and not being fixed due to it not messing up at appointments. Tried to get an appointment today while it's messing up but was told it would be next week before it can be looked at (probably won't be messed up then!).

04v326000 one of the recall number the other is 05v512000 not sure what to do at this point I've changed my timing chain also already I also received a letter stating if I had to replace it to contact Nissan I believe I'm just getting the run around.

While driving the forward emergency brake light comes on. After it comes on there is a reduction of power. It disables cruise control. This happens when the vehicle is in motion on a city street or when you go to take off.

I had an a. C. Compressor issue 3 years ago and had it replaced by trophy Nissan mesquite,texas in 2017. Now 3 years later may of 2020 my compressor has locked up again. It was working fine until a week ago when I was on my way to work it was great but after my shift was done and I came out to go home my a. C. Compressor was'nt working. So I was wondering if there were any Nissan recalls with a. C. Compressor issues on my Maxima.

The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Maxima. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph in the rain, the vehicle suddenly shut off causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash into a guard rail. Additionally, after the crash the 4 doors were unable to be opened from the inside or outside of the vehicle. The police and fire department were called to the scene and rescued the driver from the vehicle by breaking the window. The contact indicated that approximately 40 minutes after the crash the doors were able to be opened from the outside. No injuries were reported and no medical treatment was required. A police report was taken at the scene. The vehicle was towed away. The manufacturer was notified of the vehicle. The contact indicated that the vehicle had randomly shut off while driving on two separate occasions. The cause of the failures were not determined. The contact stated that the manufacturer was made aware of the faiures. The failure mileage was 54,000.

The battery ran out, I sent it to a mechanic, a fault arrives and now the transmission fails, it does not accelerate when it does so, it gives me a code p0746 I do not know what to do see how they can help me thanks.

The body control module keeps the front and back lights from working. The tail lights also not working. The license plate lights not working cost for replacing with labor and tax is over 1k in California. While I was driving at night I could not see the road. I had to pull over and get towed home.

When driving a error message on the front radar randomly appears. It says "unavailable front radar obstruction" and affects the adaptive cruise control. This error is happening even in clear road conditions and for no reason. Other people are reporting same error message for no reason also.

Passenger side air bag sensors keeps on resetting as no one is sitting on the seat. I have to tell the passenger to jump on the seat for the "air bag off" light to reset. The cvt transmission putter at low speed with a with lots of noise, I have to give it more gas for the noise to stop. The passenger front door lock and driver side rear door lock does not unlock. Fog light on the car is not working, I was told my a mechanic that the relay switch that is built into the steering column is no good and will need to be replaced.

The car streering wheel wont move and the car wont start.

The contact owns a 2018 Nissan Maxima. The contact stated that the instrument panel was intermittently dim upon starting the vehicle. The contact stated that while driving the instrument panel eventually brightened before returning to a dim setting. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions however, the technicians were unable to duplicate the failure. The failure persisted, and the contact stated that the instrument panel had gone blank before returning to a dim setting later. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where a diagnostic test was performed, and the contact was informed that the around view monitor (avm) unit needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 8,434.

Tl- the contact owns a 2020 Nissan Maxima. The contact stated while driving 55 mph, when the dashboard panel began flashing red and the vehicle forcefully braked independently without any vehicle's near him. The contact stated he was able to drive to his destination. The contact stated he had experience the failure 3 separate occasion. The vehicle was taken to local dealer south shore Nissan located at 200 sunrise hwy, amityville, NY 11701, (516) 269-8338, and were unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer had been informed of failure. The failure mileage was 3,200. Dp.

When is in motion on any type of street and also at a stop, when getting close to a vehicle or if someone cuts in front of me, or if there is a street sign directly in front of the car, this message appears very briefly "unavailable front radar obstruction" which also shows the icon of two front end of cars colliding. This happened immediately after puchasing my 2018 Maxima. The dealership has not said a word about being aware of this problem when it is a known problem with certain Nissan vehicles. The cost to bring it into the dealership and for any repairs at this point would be out of my pocket since the car is no longer under warranty. This faulty radar compromises the emergency braking system in the car.

Car won't start can't won't read key.

Tl- the contact owns a 2018 Nissan Maxima. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the collision avoidance system would erroneously activate although no objects was present in front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer napleton Nissan(10964 page Ave, st. Louis mo) who re-calibrated the collision avoidance sensor but the failure continued to occur. The manufacturer was notified of the failure(case 2170186). The failure mileage was 40,000. Jft.

Show me warning of obstruction on radar for emergency brake.

Unavailable front radar obstruction. This alert happens at random times when driving, it puts the sensor in an unavailable mode which in turns does not allow the safety function to work properly. I have done searches online and this is happening not only to Maximas but to other Nissan make/models. This is not a one time and done occurrence it happens often. When we purchased the car safety was one of our biggest concerns leading us to believe Nissan provided safe cars, apparently, that is not the case. In my opinion, this should be a recall fix, this is a safety issue!.

Front forward collision sensor automatically engaged emergency braking system without any obstruction being in the roadway which caused a sudden unsafe lockup of the brakes. I was on a large airport parking ramp in motion. There is also numerous times when the front radar sensor deactivates and says unavailable due to front radar obstruction.

When locking and unlocking doors, the drivers door is not responding from the remote, same exact thing on my murano, and then effecting the fuel door cap.

Electrical and ac failure, spent a lot of money and couldn't really afford to spend bc I was trying to get my ac repaired and no ine can figure out what the problem is. The warm weather is approaching and I cannot have my self and my child sweating bullets again this year. Purchased a new ac compressor, new ac condenser and had the ac charged still not fix to it. Have several people check for leaks ect and ac compressor doesn't even kick in at all and no one knows why.

Takata recall steering wheel lock mechanism will not let me start car after buying numerous parts.

Driver seatbelt indicator does not chime or display when belt is unbuckled. Only works for the passenger.

My car caught fire due to electrical in the engine the whole front of my car is burned me and my family was asleep the neighbor came and knocked on the window and said my car was on fire I called the fire department they put the fire out and I asked how was the fire started the firemen told me the fire started from the engine.

Driver seat, seat belt light will not illuminate if not buckled up seat doesn't detect when there is someone in it and they aren't buckled.

Please fix your auto fill --- it just erased everything! anyway, the engine cuts out while driving in traffic. The engine cuts out while waiting at a red light. The engine cuts out while turning. It's all random! the engine code shows p0340, bank 1 and bank2, and sometimes p0345. I have replaced the camshaft position sensors five times!!!!! I have tried both auto zone and hitachi, and neither of them solves the problem. I also paid to have the crankshaft sensor below replaced, and that didn't help. I am told that this problem has been posted online and it was recommended to only use oem parts. This is very dangerous to lose power while in traffic, and then having to wait until the engine will restart, which eventually it does. This is an ongoing problem. Please help!!!.

My transmission messed up on me with 114,000 miles! brand new almost and when it would go over 45 it won't catch my gears the rpm would go stay put and make a loud whining noise!!.

My car only has 112337 mile and needed to replace the transmission , now at 112954 have to replace the abs control module . The transmission was hard shifting/ jerking when you get to about 30-35 mph . So it cost almost 4,000. 00 to fix and the the speedometer and odometer quit working after 500 miles with new transmission and took the car to electrical shop to find out I now have to replace the abs control module and after all the money put in this car I don't think it is worth fixing the abs considering I just bought the car in oct. 2018 and thought I got a great car and alredy have enough money put in it and could never sell it for the money I have in it Nissan should be fixing these issues not me considering all the complaints on these cars with the same problems at the same mileage.

Navagation dashboard blinking in and out now wont come back on, braking is sluggish.

The intelligent key is not being recognized by the vehicle. Acts as if the key is not within the reading range. This causes the doors to stay locked/unlocked when using the fob. Also, the ignition will not turn even though the fob is in the car. The actual key has to be removed from the fob in order to operate the vehicle.

This car has nothing but issues. I have had to replace the timing chains along with continuing to deal with the cars transmission and engine revving and trowing itself in and out of gear and dying the the middle of the road or highway. This car is dangerous and hundreds of people are having the exact same issues with Nissan refusing to address the issue or admit fault. Something needs to be done. Im sure people have been physically hurt from this issue and seems strong enough to be made into a class action suit.
