I was driving at 25 mph and suddenly the air bags went off without a collision (right and left curtain and left and right front seat). I've never been on a crash or hit anything in any way to activate the air bags. The "air bag light" has never been on except for now after the incident. Thankfully I was driving at low speed so I was able to come to a stop without any further incidents. Most of all, I wasn't in the car with my kids, I can't imagine how that could be. I bought this car because I thought it was safe. Nobody told me it was going to self destruct in 10 years, popping like a popcorn. I went to the Nissan dealer and they said they couldn't help me because it's not under warranty. Really???? I'm talking safety here! this is not wear & tear. If I knew I was going to spend 30k on a car that would self destruct in 10 years I wouldn't have spend a penny! this is a safety hazard and it must be fixed. Nissan treated me like if I was the only case even when I could see clearly on the internet this issue has been happening before. So they don't know what they are selling? and worst of all, they (Nissan) didn't seemed interested to investigate this incident. Definitely "safety first" is not what they have in mind. This is extremely frustrating. Their solution was for me to go to my insurance company.
