When you activate the high beams by pressing the lights stalk toward the dash, the switch for turning the lights on and off move and your headlights go out. It has happened to myself and my wife 20 times in the past year and we have almost had accidents because we can not see nor can oncoming cars see us. It is a design flaw in that the headlight switch moves too easily.

The left xenon headlight in the consumer's 2004 Nissan Murano was stolen. ** a thief entered the consumers vehicle via keyhole, popped the keyhole and stole the left light. The consumer felt that the easy entrance was a defect.
