I have a 2006 Nissan Murano and the rear subframe is having premature heavy rust causing the rear wheels to camber inwards. I noticed that 90% or the Murano around this year are concerned and it creates a extremely dangerous road safety issue Nissan should recall these car equipped with this subframe and save lives !.
Uniroyal tire failure - complete tire tread separation while driving on the highway operating under normal winter driving conditions and speed.
Subframe rust through and broke, causing lost control of car. Car became dangerous and unsafe to drive, with expensive repairs due to the break. Research shows that many people with the same car, or similar years, have had same issue. While driving (making a turn at a light) sub frame collapsed due to rust and all control of vehicle was lost. Car collapsed on to back wheels.
Front right bearing failure.
Both front wheel bearings have failed and had to be replaced under 100,000 miles. I am now having to take it again to have them replaced.
