The frame rusted through. I was very lucky that I didn't get in an accident! very disappointing on Nissan. I drive at highway speeds I would have lost control, rear end totally collapse, wheels are tilted in and lost traction.

The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Murano. While driving at any speed, the vehicle shook without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the rear frame was rusted out and referred the contact to the dealer. The dealer was contacted at 414-586-5400 where it was recommended that a diagnostic test be performed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 178,000.
