Two problems related to visibility have been reported for the 2009 Nissan Murano. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Please also check out the statistics and reliability analysis of the 2009 Nissan Murano based on all problems reported for the 2009 Murano.
Sunroof exploded out while traveling at highway speed (70 mph) at appoximately 0930 am. Weather conditions: clear and sunny. Road conditions: dry and smooth, no debris. No other vehicles to the front or sides so it is impossible to be road debris damage such as rocks or other debris. Appears to be a product or design defect.
The nighttime visibility when driving my recently acquired Murano in reverse is extremely poor. It makes driving dangerous. Nissan has refused to fix this safety defect, even if I agree to pay a reasonable amount for the necessary repair. The vehicle has very dark tinted windows. It does not have a rear view camera. I believe Nissan should be required to remedy this safety defect.
