2012 Nissan Murano passenger air bag light illuminating. Receiving diagnostic code b10818. Seat is not reconizing when a passenger is in seat and poses a saftey hazard to passenger. Warning lights appeared on 08/15/2022.
Passenger seat warning light is on all the time.
Passenger side airbag sensor in seat faulty. This has been an issue on other models and it is now an issue on mine. Indicator light "passenger airbag off" on constantly. Warning light on dash constantly flashing.
Air bag warning light began flashing. Indicator light under heating/air condition panel indicated bag off on passenger side. Diagnostic scan requested from dealer revealed that "occupant sensor unit failed. " "recommended replacement of passsenger air bag system and sensors at a cost of $3,563. 13. " Nissan consumer affairs twice rejected my request for financial support for repair, "because it was not listed in the campaign" (recall list). Mileage was 69,772.
