Power Steering Fluid problems of the 2013 Nissan Murano

The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Murano. The contact stated that while driving, the steering wheel became difficult to turn in either direction. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the power steering hose clamp had malfunctioned causing a power steering fluid leak. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The local dealer cochran Nissan located at 3355 william penn hwy, pittsburgh, PA 15235 and the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in the NHTSA campaign number: 17v184000 (steering). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 120,000.

Difficulty with the power steering. Checked fluid levels and none is leaking. My car is part of recall but my VIN is not associated. Can I still have my car checked? where does this need to be done?.
