Air Bag Light On problems of the 2014 Nissan Murano

I have copied a previous complaint, since I have had the same experience. "my supplemental airbag light came on 2/20/21 (Aug, 2022) and continued to flash. I took the vehicle to the dealership on 2/27/21 (in September, 2022) and they said the OCS sensor mat was bad and it would cost $4858. 13 ($3000) to replace the front passenger seat bottom. He said everything is contained in the seat bottom so the whole thing has to be replaced.

Really? sounds like it's a faulty system if that's the case. I did some research and the 2015-20?? models have all had recalls because of this issue. I'm sure my system is faulty as well and should be replaced by Nissan.
