The Feb system is braking when not necessary, causing potential serious damage/injury. The sensor is also affecting my icc/cruise control. An orange light comes on while using cruise control and the cruise control stops/fails and will not reengage until I stop the vehicle and turn it off, then on again.
Forward collision warning lamp in dashboard lights up and cruise control is disabled. This consistently happens at 10. 8 miles in the morning when the vehicle is driven for the first time of the day. If you shut the vehicle off then restart the vehicle it only goes a few miles before the forward collision warning lamp lights up again and cruise control is disabled. This happens regardless of whether cruise control is in use, or if cruise control is not in use. The following service bulletin describes the issue with my vehicle perfectly and replacing the icc distance sensor at the end of the flow chart, https://static. Nhtsa. Gov/odi/tsbs/2020/mc-10179568-0001. Pdf. I do not understand why Nissan has recognized the defect, issued a service bulletin, and chosen not to issue a recall for this safety related issue.
