Power Train problem #1

The vehicle safety switch is bad and Nissan dealers will not sell the part unless you buy the entire transmission. I bought this transmission in Nov 2020 from Nissan dealer and the part is malfunction allowing it to start in all gears. The warranty on the transmission is 12,000 miles or 12 months. At this point, I am forced to drive this vehicle which can make it hazardous. Nissan is insistent that will not sell the part unless I buy a whole new transmission. How can that be?.

Power Train problem #2

The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Nv200. While driving approximately 25 mph, the transmission downshifted and the vehicle hesitated. The vehicle was maneuvered to the side of the road where the engine was turned off. After restarting, the vehicle resumed normally. The failure recurred on three separate occasions. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unavailable.
